So I had an appointment with a specialist today for my hip…

Long story short, I begin my physical therapy sessions on Tuesday and am NOT ALLOWED TO RUN!!! What the hell! I told him it’s gonna be a problem because I have a half marathon to train for as well as tough mudder (both a week apart in august) So the plan is to do some cross training as well as talk to the physical therapist and see how I can continue my training!

Other than that.. I have an ultrasound tomorrow to follow up from my surgery and make sure all is well and that’s not causing any pain. SO MANY DOCTOR APPOINTMENTS!! haha good thing I maxed out my deductible this year!

Now for bed. Gotta substitute teach tomorrow! yay! then appointment and working out! :)

But I went on a run last saturday 6 miles. And my hip was killing me for a few days after. It’s doing better today… but still sore when i sleep on it or stand on it for too long. I have two doctors appointments today and tomorrow for it. So I suppose I should wait until saturday to run…

It better improve soon! I have a half marathon I need to train for!

This semester was easily my hardest yet. Between family issues, surgery, relationship issues and not to mention the hardest math class i’ve ever taken… real analysis.

Well!!! I GOT AN AB IN REAL ANALYSIS AND MADE THE DEANS LIST!!! My most difficult semester every! Made the deans list and finally got an AB in a mathematics course! I always have to bust my butt for math. It never comes easy for me… And finally. My hard work and endless amounts of studying has paid off!

It just shows, no matter how difficult things get, if you work hard and look on the bright side. Nothing can ever slow you down.

21st Birthday!

So it’s almost a week late but here it is!

Some background: I do not drink alcohol. I will have a drink to enjoy the taste but that’s pretty much it. And I have not been drunk for a few years now soooo I’m a very light weight.

Birthday shananigans began Thursday evening at my house with some friends from keene. We played music and card games and hung out and it was awesome! Then at 11:30 we began to walk toward the bars. My 6 foot 8 friend Jeff put me on his shoulders for over half the walk…. Now I’m 5’11 so we were HUGE! Like the size of a baby giraffe haha. It was awesome!! So at the bar I had 3 different drinks. First was a gratefull dead. Wicked good! But me being a light weight and not wanting to be drunk also enjoyed 6 waters!! haha yup!

After 4 hours of sleep I woke up (No hangover!) and went to get my license. That took 2 hours… LAME! Then off to Boston with my Aunt! I got a mini makeover, a couple alex and anni bracelets (my first) and had a drink at a bar. It was a lovely day! And perfect weather!! Then that night I went to sterling to visit my cousin and we hit the bar! Such a fun night!! The bar was small and the band played happy birthday while everyone sang. So awesome! And once again…. drank wayy more water than alcohol! Slept 5 hours, woke up at 6:45am and went on a 4.1 mile run!!! I was SO TIRED!! Took a couple breaks, but it felt great going on a run.

So yeah. I had an awesome birthday. Absolutely loved every minute of it. My cheeks hurt from smiling so much! haha And I decided I really enjoy the bar atmosphere. It’s a lot of fun hanging out and chilling. Especially when there is pool and darts!! And being single makes it fun to flirt :)

So school is over! So awesome!! Officially a senior!

I am also officially 21! Also awesome! I had such a great birthday! May or may not post about it.. depends on if I have enough time this week!

Just got back from a date… it was nice. great guy. however… I am definitely not ready to date yet. it sucks but idk. we’ll see what happens. Wish these emotions would leave!

So now it’s just substitute teaching, reading in the sun, training for races, hiking, camping, hanging with friends, basically enjoying summer!! Everything happens for a reason and it all works out in the end…

Maybe not by the calendar date…. BUT! I am done! So long junior year…. helloooooo senior year!! Holy poop I’m a senior! Cannot believe it. It’s super exciting and super scary. So. Much. Fun.

So friday evening we checked into our Inn. Very nice! Small but nice. So all of the cousins head to the bar, per usual. (The thing about my family is there are a LOT of us and we are loud and fun.. oh and they are all my cousins.. once removed, second idk so just cousins haha)
Anyways! we were super loud and obnoxious and had a blast! Me not being 21 just enjoyed my water and watched everyone get plastered haha

Saturday was the big day! My cousins wedding! I took a bunch of pictures… So I wasn’t really in any. At least from my camera. I’ll try to post one! But the venue was absolutely gorgeous! So beautiful! The weather was perfect and just everything about it was amazing!

After the ceremony we went to cocktail hour and my cousins were on a mission to set me up with someone… so they found a friend of the families son. 24 and very tall. pretty cute. BUT THERE WAS SO MUCH PRESSURE!!! It’s so hard to just have a good time and flirt when all your cousins are telling him to reserve a dance for you and his parents are telling them they aprove and we’re both single. My goodness! haha But we did dance and it was nice and I had a great time!

Once the reception was coming to an end we set up a bunch of lawn games and all the cousins, and the boy whom was now kinda my date? I have no idea what to call the situation… but! We played volleyball until dark (per usual!) So. Much. FUN! Followed by a fire and then back to the Inn for some room drinking and hanging out!

By the way. My “date” was invited back to the inn because he had no place to stay and my cousins are extremely welcoming and nice and idk but he ended up staying with us. So he was invited to the shenanigans that took place in room 218 and security came 3 times threatening to kick us out haha We really weren’t that loud. Just giggly…. but that happens!

The weekend was a total success and so much fun! I wish we had another one coming so I could wear my dress again and dance my butt off!! In good time :)
